Alan Taylor, the company’s proprietor, has had over thirty years in executive management. With special emphasis and experience in the steel, metals and forest product industries, Alan’s career has seen him run two groups of companies within ship operations, port related activities and distribution for both home and international markets to JIT (just in time) requirements.

Walsingham Logistics was formed to offer logistic solutions in the shipping, cargo handling and distribution sectors as well as providing UK and full European based representation for overseas ports and companies. Alan is the European Representative for Highway H2O – the marketing brand for The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway System and separately for the Hamilton Port Authority,
Canada’s largest Lakes port in terms of tonnage handled.
